Bicycles for 43 pastors

In Kajo Keji, local pastors faithfully support their communities through incredibly challenging circumstances, including civil unrest and famine. With communities spread across a wide area, pastors often walk for hours to visit churches, families, and people in need. There are 43 parishes in Kajo Keji, and we want to provide each pastor with a bicycle, making it easier for them to reach and serve their communities.

At just £110 per bicycle, we are seeking to raise £4,800 to provide a bicycle for every pastor. Would you consider sponsoring a bicycle or giving any amount towards our goal? Your gift will help pastors reach more people, serve more families, and bring hope to remote communities across Kajo Keji. Together, we can help these dedicated pastors keep moving and continue their essential ministry.

If our target is not reached, we will provide as many bikes as we can.

Smile Village Driving and Mechanics

The young people of the Smile Village Academy need to learn to drive and to maintain vehicles as this will enhance their opportunities to find work and make a living as they reach adulthood. This fund raiser will enable the village to purchase a suitable car to replace the old one which has reached the end of its life on the rough roads in Uganda.

Smile Village Maize Mill

The Smile Village grows a range of crops on a 7 acre plot of land nearby. One of the crops grown is maize, and a mill is needed in order to create the flour needed for baking at the Children’s Charity Village where 400 children are educated and fed each day.
