Kajo-Keji Christian College teaches theology, management & education courses in South Sudan. With around 230 students, financing the running costs, staff salaries, equipment and food are a constant challenge. With many returning refugees returning needing basic homes, the college has identified an income generating project and we have agreed to finance the set up costs.
The project will provide basic brickmaking equipment and materials which will then be sold and the profits used for future batches. This will create employment opportunities for local people as well as an income stream for the college. The college will also be able to use the bricks for future building projects.
Our goal is to raise £2,700, enough to make 100,000 bricks.
