Smile Clinic Nurse
We would like to introduce you to Prisca. She is the nurse at the Smile Children’s Charity Village and Academy.
Last year Projects Delivering Hope provided the funding to build a new clinic and to employ Prisca for the first year. Prisca is kept very busy looking after 400 children in the school and 40 young people in the training academy as well as patients from the local community. Among the many diseases she is treating are Sickle Cell disease and Malaria. We have agreed to provide funding for one more year while the clinic is established, and after that it will be self supporting. Please help us raise £1,200 to cover the costs of Prisca’s employment for one more year.
